Teaching Philosophy

Writing is a recursive process, and as responsible and ethical teachers we are never done revising our pedagogy, so this teaching philosophy is a work in progress. Currently, it demonstrates what I know of best practices and my own personal affinity for discussion and multimodal classrooms to cultivate a picture of the classroom ethos I create, with a focus on students acting as yet-unrealized rhetorical composers.

This philosophy shall grow and change as my understanding of FYC best practices grows and changes, but for now let it serve as an indication of the core values held within my composition classroom.
